Thank you to HarperCollins Canada for a copy of this debut author’s book for review. This is an outstanding debut and it definitely takes you on a fast paced ride. It is the story of an estranged mother and daughter who find that even with past differences their bond is unbreakable. Maggie is given the terrible news that her daughter Allison has been killed in a plane crash. Initially Maggie is in disbelief and this increases when she is told they can’t find her daughter’s body. Maggie sets out to uncover this mystery and many more mysteries about her daughter’s life. As we soon learn, Maggie and her daughter have not had any contact with each other for two years. As Allison struggles to reunite with her mother, Maggie is determined to find the daughter she believes is still alive. The suspense throughout the book is great! A very entertaining book that I highly recommend.
