The House Swap by Rebecca Fleet
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I received a free copy of this book from Penguin Random House Canada for an honest review. Caroline and Francis decide to do a house swap in an attempt to refocus on their strained marriage. After arriving, Caroline begins to discover things in the house that make her realize someone from her past is the person they have swapped houses with. As more strange and disturbing events occur Caroline wonders about the neighbour she has recently befriended and her connection to everything. I was a bit frustrated with Caroline and some of the choices she made but overall the story is intriguing. As the book continued and I got a better sense of the characters I appreciated their actions more. There is defintely a lot more depth to the book the more you read and there were some great twists.
