Well MetWell Met by Jen DeLuca
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Thank you to Penguin Random House Canada for my free review copy. What a charming book. This story is set around a Renaissance Faire and I have to admit I didn’t know there was such a thing. Emily has moved temporarily, to the small town where her sister lives, to help her out following her motor vehicle accident. As Emily is signing her niece up to be part of the Renaissance Faire she meets Simon. Simon is over bearing, arrogant, and rude. Once Emily commits to helping out with the Faire she is in constant contact with Simon. As it is a love story we slowly begin to see more of the true Simon and Emily revises her initial impression of him. There was depth to the story and characters and it was interesting to see all the logistics of a Renaissance Faire. Not only was the small community where they live lovely but so were the inhabitants and it great to see Emily flourish among them.
